In the snow capped mountains, In the white river that flows endlessly, In the cold breeze and the warm breath, In the dew drop that doesn't fall In the hail and in the storm, In the trees that were green In the birds and in their nests that you never see, In the redness of the nose and in the blueness of the nails In the hunger and in the pain In the food and in the pleasure In the watery eyes and in the innocent smiles In the touch and in the smell I look for me Sometimes I find, Sometimes I lose Find myself I must! Maybe in the sand or in the wave In the shell or in the snail In the heat or in the sweat In the sun or in its absence In its setting or in its rise In the water in the sea or in the one that falls as rain I look for me... Or could I be in the desert In the dust and in the heat In the deafening roar of wind Or in the ups and downs of the dunes In the hustle bustle or the cities and in the quiet of the villages In money or richness In poverty and in illness In music and in noise In babies and in parents In the waking life and in sleep In you and in the others I look for me. Sometimes I find sometimes I lose Sometimes I cry other times I love
